Good Faith Estimate.
Understanding Your Costs
At Dunamis Psychotherapy, we believe in transparency and want to ensure you feel fully informed about the financial aspects of your mental health care. Our goal is to help you make empowered, stress-free decisions regarding your well-being.
1. Estimated Cost of Services
During our complimentary consultation call, we will discuss your unique needs and provide a clear estimate of the costs involved. This conversation ensures you have a full understanding before beginning your therapy journey.
To deepen your understanding of the Good Faith Estimate policy, we recommend reviewing this resource:

This guide offers detailed insights into what a Good Faith Estimate entails and how it applies to psychotherapy and mental health services.
2. Payment Information
💳 Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and checks. Payment is required at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
📄 Insurance: Dunamis Psychotherapy operates as an out-of-network provider. If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement. We can provide a superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance company.
⚠️ Client Responsibility: It is your responsibility to verify whether your insurance provider offers out-of-network benefits and to understand the reimbursement process. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to inquire about coverage for psychotherapy services.
3. Cancellation and Late Policy
At Dunamis Psychotherapy, we deeply value your time. We recognize that life happens, and schedules can change. Our policy is designed to respect both your commitment and our ability to provide quality care to all clients.
Cancellation Policy:
⏳ Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer your time slot to someone in need.
💰 Fee: Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice or missed without communication will be charged the full session fee. This fee will be automatically processed using the payment method on file.
📅 Consistency Matters: Therapy is most effective when attended consistently. While occasional cancellations are understandable, frequent missed appointments—such as more than two cancellations per month—may disrupt your progress and could lead to a discussion about whether ongoing therapy is the right fit at this time. Unlike some providers who enforce strict limits on missed sessions, we encourage open communication to find solutions that support your commitment to therapy.
Late Arrival Policy:
🚪 Running Late? We understand—life happens! If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time to respect the next client’s appointment.
⏰ More than 15 minutes late? If you arrive beyond this window, we may need to reschedule your session, and a late cancellation fee may apply. We will always do our best to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
